You guys–summer is done. It’s Labor Day Weekend and today it was legit cold to the point where I actually needed the new fleece I just bought. I barely broke a sweat while I wore it this morning. While Fall isn’t so bad, I’m really sad to see the summer go for a bunch of reasons. One of those is the produce. I’ve actually been able to frequent the Greenmarket this summer and it’s been such a delight getting fresh in season fruits and vegetables.
Are you a resolution person? I’m completely not into that New Year/New You stuff. I’m not going to suddenly wake up at 4am and workout for 2 hours since I am not a morning person. That being said I am definitely a breakfast person. That wasn’t always the case, but for the past couple years, I’ve woken up STARVING every morning, which has necessitated the whole eating breakfast thing. The thing about needing breakfast and not being able to wake up in a timely manner is that I never have time to make breakfast. So basically I need to eat something, but without it taking any time. Oh also it should be nutritious and filling.
Who posts a potential Memorial Day dessert the day of Memorial Day? This girl! This recipe is for all my spirit animals who are procrastinators and never plan, but still want to bring something to a party. But even though you’re using all store bought items and simply freezing things, the results are still pretty impressive.
