This past Monday, I woke up early and decided to go to the gym before my day started–it was my first day back on rotations. I was running a little late and rushed out, headphones and water bottle in hand, and as the door clicked closed, I realized I didn’t have my keys. Of course our condo door locks itself automatically. Ugh. Luckily my neighbor was just on her way out the door to work and spared me a couple minutes with her phone so I could beg my dad to bring over my extra set of keys. Wow….so this is my 100th post! Can you believe it? I feel like it probably took me a while, but I finally made it! I wanted something special and though these were not made specifically for my 100th post, I think these cupcakes are still pretty special since I made them for my mom’s birthday. Rabi and I recently went to DC and I was excited to find Georgetown Cupcakes the first night I went to walk around town. I was pretty excited to try them, though I’m always a little hesitant when I try a cupcake bakery as they tend to be expensive and can be so disappointing. Fortunately, I loved every single thing I tried and wished I had gone back a couple more times to try some of their more unique flavors. Hopefully next time! read more »
